Lessons

Piano learning often starts at a young age, as parents want their children to learn the instrument, develop a musical sense, and perhaps grow that into a future career.  Nowadays, piano lessons are never the same any more.  Technology plays a big role.  We have apps, games, and interactive methods to engage children's learning.  My approach to the children lessons is to encourage them to have fun!  I combine traditional technique practice, sight reading, and interactive exercises to foster a fun environment on which the children can build a strong foundation.

鋼琴學習往往開始在年輕的時候，因為父母希望自己的孩子學習樂器，培養出音樂感，或許希望孩子將來可以用音樂來成長事業。

如今，鋼琴課已經比往時不一樣了。隨著科技發展，智能手機，平板電腦也能用作學習的工具，利用應用程式，遊戲和互動方式來讓孩子一邊玩樂，一邊學習，從而提升對鋼琴音樂的興趣。我的教學方式就是讓孩子們樂在其中，鼓勵他們玩得開心！我結合傳統的技術教學和互動練習，以促進一個愉快的學習環境，來讓孩子們可以打下扎實的基礎。

Adult Lessons  成人班

Adult learning comes in many different forms.  You may learn it as a hobby or personal interest, you may want to learn a specific piece, or you may wish to come back to the piano after years of not touching it.  In my studio, there are various resources for the above.  If it is for personal interest, I am more than happy to share my own personal interests in piano with you, hoping my interests will inspire you.  If you want to learn a specific piece, to perform that piece at a special occasion, I will guide you through to master that performance.  If you wish to come back to the piano after years of idling it, I am sure you love it, and I will do my best to bring your skills back!

​成人班可以來自許多不同的形式。可以是一種業餘愛好或個人興趣，可以是特別想學習某一首樂曲，也可以是您丟下了鋼琴多年現在想從新再出發到音樂的世界！在我的工作室，以上種種學習的原因我也能幫到您。如果是為了興趣，我很樂意與您分享我對鋼琴的熱誠，希望能夠感染到你也激發到你對音樂的興趣。如果您想學習某一首樂曲，想在一個特殊的場合演奏一曲給您最特別的人，我會逐步指點您讓您能完美地演奏這一曲出來。如果您放下了鋼琴多年而又回到它的身邊，證明您真的很愛鋼琴，那我一定會盡我所能去讓您重新對它熟悉！

Exam Preparation  考試準備

For children and adults, if you wish to pursue an RCM or an ABRSM exam, I will prepare you for it by helping you build strong foundations and laying out examination requirements clearly.  I will make sure you are fully prepared before walking into that nervous exam!  After all, I have gone through all those exams before, and I know how a teacher can support students through these stages!

Exam Preparation can follow the RCM (Canadian) or the ABRSM (British) curriculum.

兒童和成人的考試準備：無論你要考加拿大皇家音樂學院(RCM)還是英國皇家音樂學院 (ABRSM)，我都會幫你建立牢固的基礎，並明確地告訴你考試的要求，確保你走進那緊張的考試前做好充分的準備！畢竟，我自己也是過來人，我明白到一個老師該怎麼支持學生通過這些階段！
